Simple. Honest. Sufficient.

Gandhi Pravasa is not a hotel. It is a campus, shared, purposeful, and plastic-free. The stay is comfortable, the food is good, and the environment is deliberately simple. This is part of the experience.

EnvironmentA Plastic-Free Space
Visitors walk through the entrance of a rural campus marked by a festive arch decorated with colorful handspun yarn skeins. Set against a backdrop of trees and traditional tiled-roof buildings, the scene reflects a vibrant craft community rooted in handloom traditions, natural dyes, and collective cultural practices.

Gandhi Pravasa operates as a plastic-free environment. We ask all guests to arrive without single-use plastics and to engage with the space on its own terms. This is not a restriction — it is an invitation to experience what conscious living actually feels like.

The campus uses sustainable practices throughout: grey water treatment, solar where possible, and waste management systems developed as part of Charaka's operational model.
